Firearms and Ammunition:
We recommend a 300 Winchester Magnum for plains game but anything from a 270 upwards will do for plains game.
Buffalo minimum calibre is a 375. Shooting distance 50-300 yards on plains game and 50-150 yards on buffalo.

Airport:
You will fly into Johannesburg or Cape Town and then get a connection flight to Port Elizabeth where we will meet you on arrival. From Port Elizabeth its a 3 hour drive to our base camp. South Africa requires a temporary SAP 520 import/export permit for firearms and ammunition when traveling to South Africa.

Medical Facilities:
Good medical facilities are available in Somerset East within a 45min drive from base camp. Emergency evacuation to Port Elizabeth by helicopter can be arranged on short notice for specialized medical attention. Malaria medication is not required. Medical insurance is essential.

Taxidermy:
